Hello Parents,
I want to wish you a happy Advent season! My classes are celebrating our journey through Advent by doing good deeds and showing kindness to others. In grade 5/6 the students are tracking the kind deeds they performed by first sharing with others
their personal experience and then placing their name on the class wreath.
The grade 4 students are coming up with ideas of kindness to others, writing them on paper, placing them in our classroom calendar and reading them aloud to others when the day arrives.

All classes will be looking at theme 2 in the Fully Alive program. If you would like more information, please go to

I want to wish all of you a wonderful Advent season as we prepare our hearts fo the coming of our Lord.

Happy Thanksgiving Parents,

I want to wish you and your loved ones, a most happy and relaxing Thanksgiving. It is truly a time for us to pause and thank God for the many blessings in our life.

I am sending out a quick reminder that if you are a grade 6 parent and are considering having your child receive the Sacrament of Confirmation, please note that a mandatory meeting is being held in the church hall next Wednesday evening at 7:00 p.m.

The grade 4 students were asking for the recipe that their pendants were made from as well as the grade 5 Covenant stones , so here it is:

1 c. water
food colouring (optional)
2 tbsp. oil
2 tsp. cream of tartar
1 c. flour
1/2 c. salt

Put first 4 ingredients in medium saucepan, stir well. Add flour and salt, cook over medium heat. Keep stirring. It will thicken quite quickly. Remove from heat and shape into ball.Cool before putting in a sealed container.

Also, here is a link to a heartwarming video that all my classes watched.
